About the Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated students to participate in our unpaid internship program at the Ohio Department of Health. This program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience and knowledge in the field of public health.

Job Duties
  • Conduct research on the health effects of environmental pollutants
  • Review and assess health education programs for at-risk populations
  • Develop educational documents related to genetic conditions for families and physicians
  • Analyze data on health behaviors and outcomes to inform policy decisions
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in biological science, animal science, public health, or related field
  • Able to provide own transportation to/from primary worksite
