Kitchen Assistant

The Original Roadhouse Grill is seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about cooking and has a strong work ethic.

This position involves working closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to prepare ingredients, cook meals, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food products are stored, handled, and cooked safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Prepare ingredients for cooking and present dishes to high standards
• Clean and maintain equipment, utensils, and the overall kitchen area
• Assist chefs in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, waste, and production
• Adhere to kitchen policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and sanitation

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary education or experience preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, utensils, and food handling practices
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly

• A competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience
