Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Inpatient Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients with psychiatric illnesses.

You will work on four Psychiatric units: Adult, Senior Adult, Adolescent, and Women's.

Responsibilities
  • Seek methods to improve patient care on an ongoing basis.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory laws related to the care of mentally ill patients.
  • Be assigned to one primary unit while also being crossed-trained on other units, with the expectation to float as needed.
  • Use basic physical assessment skills to care for patients with co-existing psychiatric diagnoses.
Requirements

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado or a current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
  • BLS - Healthcare provider certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • CPI certification within 3 months of hire and re-certification every year thereafter.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferably with a BSN degree.
  • One year of acute care experience and one year of inpatient behavioral health experience preferred.

Estimated Salary Range: $34.67 - $49.59 per hour.
