Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist at SSM Health, you will play a critical role in analyzing, diagnosing, and treating the cardiovascular system. This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, reviewing medical history, and interpreting test results.
Responsibilities:
Prepares patients for procedures, including reviewing medical history and positioning patients as needed
Interprets and describes test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts
Monitors patients prior to, during, and after procedures, reporting any abnormal findings
Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies, and lab area
Ensures equipment is properly functioning and reports any issues to appropriate personnel
Requirements:
Associate's degree or completion of a Cath Lab certification program
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification
ARRT-R Radiography or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
Work Environment:
This position is located in the Cardiac Catheterization department at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee.
