Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors, an H&R Block brand. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

About the Role

As a Tax Advisor, you will build year-round client relationships, provide tax preparation and tax audit support, and create confidence in our clients by conducting tax interviews face-to-face and through virtual tools. You will also generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Build year-round client relationships
  • Provide tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services
  • Conduct tax interviews face-to-face and through virtual tools
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services

Requirements

  • 5+ years of tax experience
  • Experience completing individual tax returns
  • Tax planning and audit support
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person and virtually
  • Comfort working with virtual tools
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
  • Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
