Job Description

At View Point Health, we are committed to providing high-quality behavioral health services to individuals in need. Our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team provides intensive intervention, treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to individuals with severe, persistent mental illnesses or addictive diseases.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ACT team in Dekalb/Fulton. As a RN, you will participate in client-centered comprehensive assessments of psychiatric history, mental status, diagnosis, and physical health, education, and employment and social development.

You will develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain medical records. Your responsibilities will also include administering nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients and advising them on health maintenance and disease prevention or providing case management.

This is a PRN-ACT Program position that offers flexibility and variety in your work schedule. You will be working under general supervision, learning and assessing client health problems and needs.

Requirements
  • Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse or Multistate license
  • One year of experience at the lower level Registered Nurse 1 (HCP070) or equivalent position

View Point Health is a community behavioral health center serving uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans, and some private insurance across multiple locations. We provide a full continuum of behavioral health services and support, contributing to the reduction in homelessness, crime, and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits, and decreased inpatient admissions.
