Quantitative Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our risk/quant team at The Beneficient Company Group USA LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and data science, capable of developing and improving quantitative models and leveraging AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop machine learning models to generate insights from our proprietary AltData platform.
- Improve existing cashflow projection models.
- Design and implement a new portfolio allocation model that doesn't rely on external Barra models.
- Develop and deploy an improved CECL model using open-source data like Fred.
- Collaborate with the Python Developer to build scalable data solutions.
- Enhance AI-based data extraction processes from internal documents.
- Automate tasks using AltData for other internal Beneficient systems such as our investment database platform.
- Develop applications leveraging new AI models for internal and external use.
- Train internal users on new applications and gather feedback for improvements.
Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with machine learning and AI technologies.
- Proven experience as a Financial Engineer or Data Scientist.
- Strong understanding of financial models and quantitative analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with financial data systems and platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with data visualization tools.
