We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Media Packer to join our team at Carolina Biological Supply Company. As a Media Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely fulfillment of customer orders with high-quality products.

• Assist in the timely fulfillment of customer orders with high-quality products.
• Inspect items for any quality issues and accurately pick and pack for orders.
• Assist in other packing areas as needed.
• Monitor stock of packing supplies and inform Lab Coordinator or Manager when stock is low.
• Packages and handles hazardous materials shipments as needed.
• Examine received shipments and customer returns to confirm correct items and quantities.
• Monitor expiration dates on perishable media and communicate with Lab Coordinator or Manager if a product is close to expiration.
• Assist with production activities in the Department, including dispensing, capping, labeling, boxing media products, or assisting in culture labs.
• May assist in the use of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Combine various components to be sold as kits or sets.
• May assist with collection of spring/salt water and seasonal collection of plants.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Assist with periodic inventories and cycle counts.
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Picking & packing experience is required.
• Science background is helpful.
