Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Collector Senior Specialist to join our team at JL4 Staffing. As a key member of our collection unit, you will be responsible for providing medical collection services and resolving accounts in accordance with client and state guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective collection services, ensuring the successful recovery of accounts while adhering to client and state regulations.
  • Document and update patient account information accurately and timely in TLRA's collection software system.
  • Handle inbound patient and/or carrier calls professionally, assisting with inquiries, issues, and requests.
  • Utilize collection tools effectively to ensure quality recovery services and meet established goals.
  • Analyze account issues and resolve problems promptly and accurately.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in medical collections, hospital billing experience, and proficiency with UB04s, appeals, corrected claims, and payer interactions.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday with 8 hours per day. The location is at 2702 North Loop West, Houston, TX 77008.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and the location of the position.
