Job Overview

KMS Solutions, LLC seeks an accomplished analyst to provide acquisition support to the Undersea Special Mission Systems program office (PMS 390) at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

PMS 390's mission involves:

  • Assessment/Underwater Work System (AUWS)
  • Submarine Rescue System-Rescue Capable System (SRS-RCS)
  • Submarine Rescue System-Submarine Decompression System (SRS-SDS)

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating R&D initiatives, acquisition, test and evaluation, in-service support, and recommending certification of systems. This includes supporting future SOF Undersea Mobility Systems and providing technical assistance for all matters related to SOF Undersea Mobility.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 10+ years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, or a relevant field are essential qualifications for this role.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Provide program management support for the USSOCOM program
  • Review technical details, negotiate requirements, and adjudicate technical comments
  • Interact with program sponsors, navy fleet representatives, and NAVSEA technical community members
  • Develop programmatic briefs for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain knowledge of program management and Department of Defense acquisition processes

This is a 50% on-site and 50% telework position, with up to 15% CONUS/OCONUS travel possible.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • An Active SECRET DoD security clearance
  • At least 10 years of experience working with Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs
