Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Bassett Healthcare Network. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and medical histories.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, diagnoses, and treatments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Completion of a formal radiology technology training program in an AMA-approved school.
  • NYS license (NYS Temporary Permit for new graduates) and ARRT Registered as a Radiologic Technologist within 180 days from date of hire.
  • ARRT CT certification within 2 years of hire/within job role (career ladder promotion).
  • BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical data and make informed decisions.
