Job Summary

Baystate Health is seeking an experienced HRIS Operations Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the workflow, compliance, and systemic transactions from the point an applicant accepts an offer forward through day one of hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preboarding and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Manage candidate clearance and onboarding to ensure completion and clearance for orientation.
  • Process hire and transfer transactions, including changes in start date and hire rescinds, in a timely manner.
  • Communicate production issues to manager and suggest resolutions.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities related to workflow, onboarding, diversity hires, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in piloting new processes and participate in planning and executing the onboarding of groups of new employees.
  • Maintain familiarity with application data flow and comprehension of how inputted information affects downstream departments.
  • Maintain workflow in accordance with Standard Work in a timely fashion.
  • Measure touch time and flow time to ensure compliance with standard.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service and demonstrate professional presence.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of high-volume HR experience.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • Experience with Workday and proficiency with HCM.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Typing proficiency, intermediate level user of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and state and federal hiring documents.
  • Ability to project plan, prioritize, multitask, delegate, lead, and meet deadlines.
