About the Role
  • Deliver engaging and effective education to nursing students, promoting cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills essential for professional nursing practice.
  • Provide expert supervision and guidance to students in clinical training facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of patient care.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health education and research.
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and delivering curriculum content that aligns with national standards and accreditation requirements.
  2. Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
  3. Mentoring and supervising students in clinical settings, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or related field, with expertise in psychiatric mental health nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Florida.
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring nursing students, preferably in a higher education setting.
