Process Optimization Specialist for Advanced PCB Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at AdvancedPCB. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the drill, route, and lamination departments.

This role requires a strong technical background in process engineering, with prior experience in drilling, routing, and lamination processes. You will work closely with supervisors to drive efficiency, quality improvements, and process excellence. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting and decision-making, and you will be expected to maintain comprehensive documentation of procedural improvements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of engineering processes in the drill, route, and lamination areas, providing recommendations and support to enhance efficiency.
  • Training employees on procedures and processes; acting as a technical mentor.
  • Leading quality initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, and resolving quality issues in partnership with supervisors.
  • Spearheading initiatives focused on productivity, safety, waste reduction, and cost control within assigned areas.
  • Conducting operator and process audits to identify and correct procedural deviations, ensuring high attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a related science or engineering field, or a strong equivalent in relevant experience. Proficiency in relevant computer applications and an aptitude for technical problem-solving are also required. Effective communication skills are necessary to interact with multiple departments, including maintenance, vendors, production, and CAM.
