Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Controls Specialist to join our team in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Salary: Based on experience, full-time salary range is estimated at $90,000 - $120,000 per year.

Job Description:

In this role, you will develop and maintain our PLC/HMI platform, managing internal and contract personnel who commission, troubleshoot, and maintain production facilities. You will work closely with petroleum engineers to build out new functionality, integrate new devices, and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation solutions for production facilities
  • Manage and lead a team of internal and contract personnel
  • Collaborate with petroleum engineers to design and implement new systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation technology

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ladder Logic programming expertise
  • Proficiency in Function Block Diagrams and Modbus protocols
  • Experience with HART and Analog/Digital I/O
  • Basic LAN networking skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and self-sufficient individual

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AllenBradley StudioLogix5000 experience
  • ABB Control Builder certification
  • Inductive Automation Ignition 8.1 Perspective knowledge
  • MQTT Sparkplug B understanding
  • Cambium radio network expertise
  • IP camera configuration

Schedule:
