Job Overview

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. As a vital member of our logistics department, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food products to customers while maintaining exceptional service and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and make frequent stops. In addition, they should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $33.34, along with opportunities for career growth and excellent benefits, including paid training and overtime. Job Responsibilities

As a CDL A Truck Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering best-in-class customer service by meeting scheduled delivery times and keeping productivity at optimal levels.
  • Unloading products with a hand truck and placing items in the customer storage area.
  • Able to perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
  • Making frequent stops during a work shift.
  • Verifying delivery of items with customers.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical.
