We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team for a 13-week contract in Huntington, WV.
Job OverviewThis is a travel nursing opportunity that offers a unique chance to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in critical care. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication with other healthcare providers.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current on best practices and evidence-based guidelines in critical care.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in critical care, preferably in an ICU setting.
- Current licensure in the state of West Virginia or eligibility for licensure by reciprocity.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, ACLS preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A weekly gross pay of $2180.92, based on 36 hours per week.
- A tax-free housing stipend of $770.00 per week.
- A meals allowance of $476.00 per week.
