Senior Accountant Role

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a local consumer products company in need of an experienced Senior Accountant to join their accounting team.

Job Responsibilities

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments, to support financial reporting.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies through detailed analysis and communication with relevant teams.
• Develop and manage schedules for month-end close, ensuring timeliness and completeness.
• Oversee American Express credit card charges, ensuring proper coding and compliance with internal policies.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.
• Bank reconciliations and analysis of reports and financial statements.
• Additional ad hoc requests as needed.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Prior experience with SAP Business One and QuickBooks is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be $85,000-$95,000 per year. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days of in-office work and flexible remote work arrangements.
