Women's and Family Recovery Navigator-REACH Position

The Women's and Family Recovery Navigator-REACH position at Wheeler Clinic is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and families affected by substance use. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals who are parenting and/or pregnant/expecting, including fathers, grandparents, and other immediate family members who are impacted by substance use.
Our ideal candidate is a woman in recovery from substance use or co-occurring disorder who has maintained a minimum of two years of sobriety, or a woman with lived experience supporting immediate family in their recovery. You will have successfully completed or will complete a DMHAS-approved thirty-hour recovery-oriented training program and have a valid driver's license.
As a Recovery Support Specialist, you will provide education on addiction recovery, assist individuals in developing and implementing their unique recovery plans, and actively identify and support linkages to community resources that support their goals and interests.
You will also attend and staff community outreach events to promote REACH program services and support for women in recovery in the community and their families.
