Job Overview

The CSUDH Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Professional to oversee the management of its Head Start facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities meet federal, state, and local licensing requirements.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned facilities manager to join our organization and contribute to the delivery of high-quality child care services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and cleaning of Head Start facilities to ensure they are safe, clean, and functional.
  • Ensure that all facilities meet federal, state, and local licensing requirements.
  • Manage a warehouse of supplies and equipment and maintain inventory control and distribution systems.
  • Conduct regular health and safety inspections of buildings and playgrounds.
  • Serve as the liaison between Head Start and building maintenance contractors.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience in facilities management or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general building maintenance or facilities management for pre-school or Head Start centers.
  • Previous experience with lease management and contracting is preferred.
