Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Management Officer to join our Corporate Banking team at Bank of Hawaii. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and credit relationships, ensuring timely and accurate completion of administrative functions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and credit relationships, monitoring credit quality and ensuring compliance with Bank policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Banking Service Representative to ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative functions.
  • Communicate directly with clients, agent banks, and other participating banks to obtain information and ensure smooth transaction processing.
  • Prepare and review complex Credit Approval Memoranda (CAM) packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Bank policies.
  • Facilitate documentation process with external attorneys and/or Bankoh Loan Center, ensuring timely delivery of documents to clients.
  • Track and monitor updated financial information and compliance certificates, following up with clients and agent banks as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in business or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of business experience, with 2-3 years of commercial credit or commercial lending experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and consultative approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Bank software systems.
