About the Role:

The Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Professional Mental Health Clinician to join our team in providing exceptional outpatient clinical services. This dynamic role will involve working with adults who require psychosocial assessments, individual psychological support, group and family therapy, and participation in interdisciplinary treatment teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on solution-focused therapy, medical crisis intervention, and cognitive-behavioral techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate community resources for patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Three to five years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), specializing in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with adults experiencing acute mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
  • Experience with managed-care settings is an asset.
  • Licensed by the State of Vermont as a Clinical Social Worker.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • NASW code of conduct principles
  • Pyschosocial assessments, utilization, and case management principles.
  • Knowledge of community resources and regulatory standards relevant to acute inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows desktop applications.

Compensation and Benefits:

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of $54,600 - $87,000 annually, along with a one-time hiring sign-on bonus of $5,000.
