Hospice Music Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide music therapy services to patients in a hospice care setting
  • Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Use music to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve mood

Requirements:

  • Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT)
  • State-specific qualification requirements
  • 2 years of full-time experience as a Music Therapist in a Healthcare setting (for Level II Music Therapist)
  • 5 years of full-time experience as a Music Therapist in a Healthcare setting (for Level III Music Therapist)
