You will also be responsible for completing patient registration, verifying insurances, and providing front office support as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient schedules
  • Collect co-payments and process patient payments
  • Complete patient registration and verify insurance information
  • Provide front office support as needed, including greeting patients and escorting them to exam rooms
  • Document patient information, including vital signs, allergies, and medications
  • Perform basic vitals, such as blood pressure and height and weight
  • Phlebotomy and injections may be required

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred
  • One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office preferred
