About the Role:
As a Baker at Panera, your primary responsibility is to produce high-quality baked goods, including fresh bread and pastries, to meet the demands of our cafes. You will work closely with our team to maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Bake a variety of fresh bread and pastries, adhering to Panera's high standards for quality and presentation.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the production area, storage, and inventory management.
  3. Assist with food preparation, including decorating and packaging pastries.
  4. Support the team in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  5. Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.


Requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
