Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Northside Hospital, providing exceptional patient care and diagnostic imaging services in our state-of-the-art radiology department.

About the Role

This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent employment. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar specialty.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Ensure accurate and efficient image acquisition, minimizing patient wait times and maximizing productivity
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in MRI technology within a specialty setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
Schedule Information
  • Regular schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Rotating shifts may be required, including weekends and major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and one minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
