Job Description:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. This role involves providing direct patient care within the scope of practice, directing and guiding patient/family teaching, and managing the activities of other nursing personnel within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching.
- Manage the activities of other nursing personnel.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
