Hotel Investment Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Vice President to lead our hotel investment underwriting efforts. Reporting directly to the investment lead, you will be responsible for bridge-building between various organization groups and key stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making throughout the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pro Forma Development: Lead the creation of detailed pro formas with thorough analysis and insight supporting each assumption.
- Jr. Team Training: Train junior team members on hotel underwriting principles.
- Industry Relationships: Leverage a deep network of industry relationships to gather valuable insights and information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the investment team, exhibiting ownership and deal-making mindset.
- Operator Engagement: Engage with operators to review pro forma and financial assumptions.
- Data Research: Facilitate data research efforts to ensure well-informed decisions.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks in support of the investment originations team.
- Communication: Facilitate communication between teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and build a high-performing team.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in hospitality and/or financial services.
- Hotel Financials: Deep understanding of hotel financials, underwriting, and valuation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, capable of communicating with Executive-level audiences.
- Relationship Management: Accomplished at relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational Abilities: Excellent organizational abilities.
- Meeting Management: Experience running meetings in a professional and efficient manner.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks for efficient execution.
- Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with a high level of competency in hotel valuation and operations, with a track record of leading groups in these areas.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
