Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 24 hours of patient admission
  2. Evaluate patient withdrawal symptoms and intervene according to physician policy
  3. Maintain rapport with patients and their family members
  4. Monitor vital signs and administer medications as ordered by a physician
  5. Perform venipuncture and other medical procedures safely
  6. Administer medications, including IV fluids
  7. Manage controlled medications and order medication as needed
  8. Provide health education to patients and family members
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with current State licensure (RN or LPN)
  • Experience working with adults preferred
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring physical stamina
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under stressful situations
