Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills? We're looking for a SAQ Zone Specialist to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As a key member of our infrastructure construction company, you'll play a crucial role in zoning and permitting activities, researching jurisdictions, and developing relationships. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring compliance with local zoning and permitting ordinances.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate with jurisdictions and develop relationships
  • Research and evaluate telecommunication requirements in local zoning and permitting ordinances
  • Update and compile zoning trackers with research information
  • Maintain site updates on zoning and permitting in Master Tracker
  • Packaging and shipping applications
  • Tracking application submittals to jurisdictions
  • Scanning and uploading documents to customer database
  • Following up with jurisdictions on permit and zoning approvals
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience in Zoning or Urban Planning a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Above-average organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
