Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse at Prisma Health, you will provide routine, standardized nursing care for patients under the supervision of the physician. This role is bonus eligible, and we encourage you to follow the details for more information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop a plan of care for patients, making appropriate referrals based on assessment.
  • Provide direct care to patients in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner, consistent with the established plan of care and identified patient priorities.
  • Delegate nursing tasks to members of the healthcare team, ensuring completion of assigned tasks and monitoring quality of care delivered.
  • Communicate patient needs to others in the healthcare continuum, utilizing resources within the interdisciplinary healthcare team as necessary.
  • Evaluate own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standard guidelines, state statutes, policies, procedures, rules, and current specific knowledge.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
