(Nasdaq: FPAY), is a financial and technology company that provides brand name durable goods to consumers on a lease-to-own basis through its e-commerce marketplace and LTO payment method. The company also offers LTO technology platforms to retailers and e-tailers to enter into transactions with consumers who want to obtain durable goods but do not have the available cash or credit.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Risk Analyst to join our team in a fast-paced, high-growth FinTech industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and interpretation of strategies and policies for FlexShopper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various multi-disciplinary areas to identify and analyze potential risks, rewards, and opportunities within FlexShopper's operating landscape.
  • Lead and conduct continuous research and statistical analysis to identify factors that impact applicant's risk.
  • Evaluate new strategies to reduce risk, complete cost/benefits analyses, and make thoughtful recommendations.
  • Develop risk & fraud prevention strategy criteria, evaluate, and communicate multiple scenarios, and work with leadership to assess, deploy, and maintain strategies and policies.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and attribution analysis around the effectiveness of Risk tools.
  • Seek and generate new ideas to enhance business policies to derive actionable outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Master's degree preferred: Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Stem, Finance, or Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in one or more areas of risk: Risk or Portfolio Management, Risk Analytics, Risk Policy, Model Development, Fraud Analytics, Fraud Prevention, or Fraud Model development.
  • At least 4 years of financial industry experience preferred, consumer finance expertise preferred.
