About the Job

This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing diesel-powered equipment, including tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, and other heavy equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance within company standards to ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely.
  • Documenting all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability accurately and efficiently.
  • Providing road service calls and performing road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of commercial Diesel mechanic or reefer experience.
  • A strong understanding of diesel engines, transmission systems, and other heavy equipment components.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
