About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality medical imaging services.

Job Summary: The Radiology Imaging Specialist will work under the general supervision of a radiologist to provide surgical guidance for intraoperative and angiographic procedures using advanced imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in radiography and hold an ARRT-R certification. Additional requirements include ability to explain procedures, administer first aid, and maintain quality control records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide surgical guidance for advanced surgical procedures such as deep brain stimulation, 3D imaging for facial/pelvic and spinal navigation, ortho trauma, and more.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and protocols.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exam is performed on the correct patient.
  • Prepare patients and area for procedure by positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified positions.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies.
  • Report issues to management or appropriate department and assist in maintaining supplies inventory.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation such as requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status, and consent forms.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements: 1 year of experience in radiography, ARRT-R certification, ability to explain procedures, administer first aid, and maintain quality control records.
