Job Summary:

The RN Home Visitor is a multifaceted role that promotes excellence in nursing practice. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards in clinical practice, professional development, teamwork, customer relations, and research in delivering case management and support services for a designated caseload of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits with pregnant/parenting women and their children under research protocols.
  • Interact with community agencies in accordance with guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and protocols of the Human Resources Department, Children's Home Care Group, and the contracting entity.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care for patients' physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • BSN required.
  • Registered Nurse licensure and BLS certification required.
  • At least two years of recent experience in pediatrics or related experience required.
  • Experience in adolescent psychology, OB, home care, and community nursing preferred.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with an FTE of 1.0 and an onsite status.
