Job Title: Autism Specialist Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide compassionate care at our West Valley Center, located near Avondale and Goodyear. As an Autism Specialist Therapist, you will be part of a collaborative team alongside speech therapists, behavior analysts, counselors, and psychologists.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans in line with occupational therapy standards.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions to implement goals in individual or group settings, promoting life-changing experiences for individuals with autism.
  • Supervise and provide case guidance to occupational therapy assistants, ensuring seamless client care.
  • Maintain accurate client records and data collection as per policy, reflecting your commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to support client care, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Assist with staff training and professional development, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Manage scheduling and ensure timely, effective therapy sessions, demonstrating your ability to multitask and prioritize.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed or eligible for occupational therapy licensure in Arizona, showcasing your dedication to adhering to professional standards.
  • Experience working with autism populations is preferred, highlighting your expertise in this area.
  • Proficiency in working with young children and families, demonstrating your ability to adapt to diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trust and rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to multitask, plan, and organize independently, showcasing your self-motivation and discipline.
  • Must pass a fingerprint clearance check and other related hiring requirements, reflecting your commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$92,000 (DOE), along with a generous hiring bonus and comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401K plans. Our full-time position also includes paid sick time, PTO, and 12 holidays, ensuring you have a healthy work-life balance.
