Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Intensive Care Unit team.

This is a Part Time, benefits eligible position on the night shift.

The CNA provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician.

Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support, and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.

Education and Experience:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Maine required
  • Active on the State of Maine CNA registry required
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS within 6 months of hire required
  • 1 year of continuous CNA experience preferred
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care and comfort
  • Communicate with providers and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition and needs of the patient's family
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care
