Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our team in New Haven. This role will provide exceptional support to our Business Office, working closely with our team to complete monthly financial reviews, coordinate procurement and accounts payable activities, monitor and prepare expense reports, and develop detailed Excel spreadsheets for reporting and USP billing.

The Ideal Candidate

This position requires a self-directed individual with excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative, problem-solve, and exercise independent judgment, while also working collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete monthly financial reviews and provide accurate and timely financial information to the Business Office.
  • Coordinate procurement and accounts payable activities, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and prepare expense reports, accurately tracking and managing expenditures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets for reporting and USP billing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize work, juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
  • Well-developed computer skills, including intermediate Excel skills and the ability to learn other computer applications.
  • Self-directed with the ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and exercise independent judgment.
  • Excellent attendance record and punctuality.

Estimated Salary

$30.29 per hour.
