Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a crucial member of our logistics team, you will play a key role in ensuring timely delivery of food products to customers while maintaining strong relationships and adhering to high safety standards.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to read and communicate in English, and have a valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. Additionally, they should have a minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.

About the Role:
  • Safely operate a truck to deliver food products to customers, meeting scheduled delivery times and exceeding customer expectations
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, placing them in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Provide exceptional customer service, enhancing the client experience through professionalism and courtesy
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections, prioritizing safety and efficiency
About You:
  • You must be registered to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
  • Able to read and communicate in the English language
