Aircraft Systems Lead Technician

We are seeking an experienced Avionics/Electrical Systems Lead to join our team at The Structures Company, LLC. This key role will be responsible for providing leadership, technical expertise, and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members while performing operational, functional tests, and repairs of avionics and electronic systems.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement process changes to reduce costs and meet schedule requirements without compromising safety or quality.
- Training and Development: Provide direct training to personnel to support company cross-training goals and ensure a skilled workforce.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required, with 6 years of experience in avionics/electrical career field or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience.
- Certifications: A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
- Skills: Superior technical skills and expertise in avionics and acft systems operational testing and troubleshooting, ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams, and proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other acft systems or disciplines.
- Preferred Proficiency: Proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other acft systems or disciplines other than avionics, such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations and repairs.
