Job Summary

As a Mechanical Production Supervisor at the Pipecare Group, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing technical support to pre-assembly and assembly department personnel to ensure timely completion of tool preparation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide technical support to pre-assembly and assembly department personnel to guarantee efficient tool preparation.
  • Enforce established tool assembly and testing SOPs and special procedures, maintaining adherence to company rules and regulations.
  • Review monthly tasks and plan with the production planner, assigning specific dates for each task.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of tools or spare parts according to the Tool Preparation Plan.
  • Prevent changes in Material plans during each quarter, every three months.
  • Verify work orders and ensure delivery meets given target dates.
  • Prevent last-minute Material requests for standard items like springs, magnets, wheels, bearings, fasteners, etc.
  • Ensure Tool assembly for PTT/Push-through test/Final assembly is done based on tool configuration drawings.
  • Guarantee all aspects related to tool assembly are reviewed, verified, and tools are calibrated before final assembly.
  • Submit weekly PTT plans to Data Analysis, Quality, and HSE departments.
  • Maintain standard items in stock based on minimum figures, coordinating with Purchase Dept. to obtain necessary items for tool assembly.
  • Deliver correct tools assembled based on design drawings, tool preparation checklists, and deadlines for Q/C.
  • Use high-quality standard items in final assembly.
  • Deliver cleaned tools: tool bodies painted, assembled on trays, ready for shipment.
  • Report any items used in final assembly differing from design drawings or specifications listed in design drawings to the Design section.
  • Arrange all material, items, equipment needed for tool assembly ahead of time before starting assembly actions.
  • Ensure testing spools are available based on commercial project requirements, Target WT, and existing artificial defects verified with data analysis.
  • Conduct tests (PTT or Push-through Test) for tools listed in internal project plans.
  • Maintain workshops in neat and tidy conditions adhering to HSE standards.
  • Keep the PTT area, testing pipes, and other equipment ready for pull-through and push-through tests.
  • Provide training to new employees and continuous instruction for improvement and development to direct reports.
  • Execute other tasks as requested by the TM/Production Director within assigned job roles.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, mechatronics engineering, or similar disciplines, and/or related industry experience.
    • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in production environments.
    • Strong communication, motivation, and leadership skills.
    • Strong computer skills, as well as knowledge of manufacturing reporting software.
