Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to join our team at Primastep LLC. As a key member of our contracts department, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with legal requirements and mitigating risks associated with contracts and agreements.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall success of our organization. You will work closely with our Contracts Director and Manager to assist in the preparation, review, and execution of contracting documents, as well as research and assist with review, draft, and negotiate various contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Assist in the preparation, review, and execution of contracting documents to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
  • Risk Mitigation: Help identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Work with the department director and manager to actively lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Contract Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and organized contract records and generate regular reports on contract status.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in contracts research and support in a technology or government contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts.
  • Preferred certifications FAC-C, DAWIA in contracting.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
