Electrophysiology Cardiac Specialist

At Dignity Health-Yavapai Regional Medical Center, we are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team. With a strong focus on patient care, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive services to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled nurse practitioner to work in a fast-paced environment. As an Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for conducting thorough pre-procedure evaluations, educating patients and their families about heart procedures, and coordinating patient care throughout the process.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough pre-procedure evaluations, including patient history review, physical assessments, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
- Educate patients and their families about the details of heart procedures, including risks, benefits, and post-procedure care instructions
- Assist in the coordination of patient care throughout the process, from pre-procedure preparation to post-procedure recovery and follow-up
- Monitor patients' progress and recovery following procedures, addressing any complications or concerns as they arise
- Provide ongoing patient education on medication management and lifestyle modifications to support long-term heart health
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Cardiology
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with focus on cardiology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in interpreting cardiac imaging studies and diagnostic tests
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support patients throughout the interventional cardiology process
The estimated annual salary for this position is $124,672 - $137,171 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This range is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.
