Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at UP Health System - Marquette. As a PACU RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and develop individualized plans of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
- Current state of Michigan RN license.
- Associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within one year of hire.
