Job Summary:

  • Deliver food and beverages to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck on local and over-the-road routes.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and trailer to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, and secure the trailer doors.
  • Deliver products to customers, and obtain signatures upon delivery.
  • Collect payment from customers, and process returns and damaged goods.
  • Perform daily record of hours of service, and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL-A license.
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
