Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute cost optimization strategies for products and tools across supply chain processes in collaboration with sales and purchasing teams.
  • Create detailed cost breakdowns for products and tools, and provide support with cost analyses and customer visits.
  • Conduct cost analyses within RFQ processes and provide systematic cost optimization recommendations for products.
  • Drive supply chain-specific value and cost optimization programs, both internally and with suppliers.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions, and provide active support, such as cost structure analyses and design-to-cost workshops.
  • Perform cost engineering and cost value analyses.
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary and international teams.
  • Evaluate, calculate, and validate the purchase costs of purchased parts, including resources required for production.
  • Develop, identify, and implement cost reduction measures with a focus on technologies according to commodity allocation.
  • Participate in target pricing during the project and development phase.
  • Support buyers in cost negotiations with suppliers.
  • Support decision-making and awarding processes in purchasing.
  • Conduct benchmark analyses.
  • Plan, prepare, and implement cost workshops with suppliers.
  • Develop knowledge and further develop calculation tools.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.
