About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our flexographic press in Blauvelt, NY. This role requires a strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality output while meeting customer specifications.

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising production staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. They will work closely with the team to optimize production processes, resolve issues, and meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain and repair equipment to prevent downtime and ensure high-quality output.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action to prevent defects.
  • Analyze production data to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, operations management).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of flexographic printing processes and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
