Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team at Equinox. As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fitness services to our members, providing personalized attention and guidance to help them achieve their wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer fitness evaluations and orientations to assess members' fitness levels and create personalized training plans.
  • Develop and maintain a strong client base, providing regular training sessions and progress updates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas and methods into your training programs.
  • Collaborate with other Equinox team members to promote a culture of wellness and fitness within the club.
  • Conduct fitness assessments and create personalized training plans for members.
  • Lead group fitness classes and workshops, promoting a fun and engaging fitness experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Personal Trainer from a nationally recognized organization.
  • 1-3 years of experience in personal training, preferably in a fitness club or gym setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members of all ages and fitness levels.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise science and anatomy, with the ability to design and implement effective training programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Reliable, professional, and computer literate, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
