Auto Body Repair Specialist

The Boyd Group is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As a key member of our repair facility, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and quality repairs that exceed our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and repair vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition using various body repair techniques and tools.
- Meticulously inspect and repair structural damage, including realigning car chassis and frames.
- Remove and replace damaged sections of vehicles with new or aftermarket parts, ensuring accurate fitting and welding.
- Rebuild and repair interior parts, including glass and windshields, to original specifications.
- Prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or agreed-upon equivalent, meeting high-quality standards.
- Inspect and test repaired vehicles to ensure all work has been executed correctly.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
- Strong understanding of vehicle bodies and repair methods, including the use of cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- $25-$35 per hour, based on experience
