Job Summary

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse provides high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough admission assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement evidence-based nursing practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and address complex medical issues.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health literacy and self-advocacy.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently to ensure seamless communication among healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of patient acuity.
